Our client is currently looking for an SMT operator to work within their growing electronics business near Southampton.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out all activities within your role to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Support the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) assembly line/equipment, maintenance, equipment/software troubleshooting, and debugging of new and existing production assembly programs. If you can programme or would like to learn, please let me know!
  • Perform failure analysis and root cause analysis of defects and field returns.
  • Conduct inspections, corrective and preventive actions, and other quality assurance-related tasks to ensure that the SMT line produces high-quality products.
  • Ensure all safety procedures are followed.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and performance.


Experience/Skills Desired:

  • Working knowledge of SMT lets talk about your skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good standard of education.
  • Not colour blind.
  • PC literate.

  • Monday to Wednesday: 06:0016:00
  • Thursday: 06:00-15:30
  • 37.5 hours per week
