Sonic Summary

Our client is seeking an SMT operator for their electronics business near Southampton, offering a salary of £25,000 to £30,000 per year.
The role requires a working knowledge of Surface Mount Technology and involves supporting the SMT assembly line, troubleshooting, and conducting quality assurance tasks.
Candidates should possess good communication skills, a standard level of education, and must not be colour blind.

Our client is currently looking for an SMT operator to work within their growing electronics business near Southampton.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out all activities within your role to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Support the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) assembly line/equipment, maintenance, equipment/software troubleshooting, and debugging of new and existing production assembly programs. If you can programme or would like to learn, please let me know!
Perform failure analysis and root cause analysis of defects and field returns.
Conduct inspections, corrective and preventive actions, and other quality assurance-related tasks to ensure that the SMT line produces high-quality products.
Ensure all safety procedures are followed.
Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and performance.

Experience/Skills Desired:

Working knowledge of SMT lets talk about your skills.
Good communication skills.
Good standard of education.
Not colour blind.
PC literate.

Monday to Wednesday: 06:0016:00
Thursday: 06:00-15:30
37.5 hours per week
