The responsibilities of the Social Worker includes:
- Assess, recruit, and prepare prospective adoptive parents.
- Support the matching and placement of children with approved adopters.
- Provide guidance and support to children and families throughout the adoption journey.
- Facilitate support groups and training for adopters.
- Prepare high-quality reports and documentation for agency panels and courts.
- Champion permanence planning and ensure child safeguarding.
- Liaise with various agencies and professionals to support adopted children and their families.
- Offer post-adoption support, including accessing therapeutic services
The ideal candidate will have:
- Social Work England registration
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DipSW/CQSW/MSc/BA)
