Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the team at Holles St Short Breaks Service for adults with learning disabilities.

  • Be the first contact for visitors and callers, including parents, carers, health professionals, and Adult Care workers.

  • Handle financial tasks such as budget monitoring, petty cash payments, and recording transactions.

  • Manage stay requests, bookings, and confirmations.

  • Use electronic systems to accurately record bookings and attendance.

  • Process staff payments, travel claims, and absences for payroll.

Person Specifications
Must Have

  • Ability to form positive relationships and interact well with service users.

  • Excellent customer care and communication skills while maintaining confidentiality.

  • Approachable manner for regular contact with service users.

  • Strong word processing and spreadsheet skills.

  • Capability to provide management information and compile statistics.

  • Initiative to work independently.

  • Awareness and commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Health and Safety.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a similar support role.
