Sales Executive
We have an exceptional opportunity for a passionate Sales Executive to join one of UK’s leading Ingredients Specialist based in Lincolnshire area. Our client truly has a global reach from a dedicated team in UK and Asia down to exclusive supply partnerships across the globe. Main Responsibilities for the successful Sales Executive:
As a member of the team, you will work alongside the sales and technical teams, providing an administrative and sales support to the Commercial Manager to help create and deliver the sales strategy.
- Support and maintain a dynamic, proactive working relationship with customers
- To nurture the commercial relationship with prospect and existing clients.
- Proactively communicate with customers to maintain a high level of service, whilst identifying and exploiting opportunities for profitable growth.
- Negotiate contracts with customers and clearly communicate quality standards with the Procurement and Technical?Teams.
- Ensuring all key control documents are managed efficiently and accurately.
- Carry out regular visits to manage and develop supplier and customer relationships.
- Support and maintain a dynamic, proactive working relationship with the technical team when required.
- Support the NPD/Technical teams with paperwork preparation for new developments are required.?
- To play an active role in the development of your department and the Company by discussing any identified opportunities for improvement in full and assisting in their introduction.
- Committed to maintaining a Health and Safety orientated environment for self and others.
Main requirements for the successful Sales Executive:
- Previous experience working within Fresh Produce industry.
- Understanding of global fruit markets and dried goods would be advantageous but not essential.
- Outstanding personal communication skills, with the ability to act well under pressure in all situations (internally & externally).
- Be a competent administrator with previous experience in a similar role.
- Be able to demonstrate a proactive and flexible attitude to work, adopting a "hands on" approach as and when appropriate for the Company's dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and IT skills especially Microsoft Office Suite
- Good analytical skills and clear logical thinker.
- Be self-motivated with a 'can do' approach.
- Be able to manage and work as part of a team as well as independently when required.
