Overview

The Flavour Network are proud to partner with a leading UK food manufacturer committed to driving sustainability and innovation across their business. As part of their continued investment in environmental performance and Net Zero goals, they are seeking a Sustainability Consultant to join their Technical team. The role of Sustainability Consultant is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to make an impact, developing and implementing sustainability initiatives across operations and the wider supply chain. This is a hands-on, technical role, within a food manufacturing environment. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities for the Sustainability Consultant 

  • Support the delivery of the company’s sustainability and Net Zero strategies.
  • Coordinate internal sustainability programmes, tracking progress and reporting results to stakeholders.
  • Collect and analyse environmental and carbon data, including scope 3 emissions.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and customer sustainability requirements.
  • Maintain and support environmental policies, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Research and recommend innovative technologies and practices to enhance sustainability performance.

Requirements for the Sustainability Consultant 

  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
  • Skilled in data management and analysis (particularly Excel).
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and engage confidently across all levels.
  • Flexible and willing to travel within the UK and occasionally overseas.
