Are you an experienced Legal Secretary with a passion for rural and agricultural law?We’re working with a highly regarded law firm that is seeking a skilled Agricultural Legal Secretary to join their specialist team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a busy and well-established agricultural department, working with clients across the farming, land, and rural business sectors.

The Role

As an Agricultural Legal Secretary, you will provide vital support to fee earners handling a wide range of rural and agricultural matters. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and formatting legal documents, including land and tenancy agreements, contracts, and correspondence
  • Managing client files and ensuring compliance with legal procedures
  • Liaising with clients, land agents, and third parties in a professional and timely manner
  • Assisting with diary management, meeting arrangements, and travel bookings
  • Supporting billing processes and maintaining accurate records
  • Contributing to the smooth running of the team and wider department
What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as a legal secretary, ideally within agricultural, property, or private client law
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Confidence using legal software and document management systems
