Henderson Brown is proud to be partnering with an FMCG manufacturer in South Lincolnshire in their recruitment of a Mechanical Engineer to be part of the site's Engineering team. Your key focus will be improving equipment performance, reliability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
  • Support engineering projects from planning to implementation.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to KPI and budget tracking.
  • Improve equipment reliability through preventative maintenance.
  • Manage parts and stock efficiently to support cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and food safety standards.
  • Promote best practices and assist in staff training where required.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Formal qualification in mechanical or agricultural engineering (essential).
  • Solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation and its workplace applications.
  • Committed to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
  • Awareness of food safety, product integrity, and quality standards.
