Henderson Brown is proud to be partnering with an FMCG manufacturer in South Lincolnshire in their recruitment of a Mechanical Engineer to be part of the site's Engineering team. Your key focus will be improving equipment performance, reliability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Support engineering projects from planning to implementation.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to KPI and budget tracking.
- Improve equipment reliability through preventative maintenance.
- Manage parts and stock efficiently to support cost control.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and food safety standards.
- Promote best practices and assist in staff training where required.
- Collaborate with other departments to support smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Formal qualification in mechanical or agricultural engineering (essential).
- Solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation and its workplace applications.
- Committed to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
- Awareness of food safety, product integrity, and quality standards.
