Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the home to school transport program's daily operations and administration.

  • Provide administrative support as directed by the Transformation Manager.

  • Help develop policies and procedures for the administration function.

  • Input and maintain data, ensuring accuracy and quality.

  • Maintain databases for accurate reporting.

  • Track financial records and support payment processes.

  • Assist with stakeholder communication and maintain relationships.

  • Perform tasks as directed within the role's responsibility and competence.

Person Specifications
Must Have

  • NVQ Level 2 in a relevant subject or equivalent.

  • Experience in an administrative setting.

  • Proven ability to deliver results.

  • Experience with various software packages.

  • Ability to work in a busy environment and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to process information accurately.

  • Knowledge of IT systems.

  • Good time management and organizational skills.

  • Team player with initiative.

  • Flexible and motivated to provide effective service.

Nice to Have

  • NVQ Level 3 in a relevant subject or equivalent.

  • Experience in a local government setting.

  • Understanding of Home to School Transport statutory guidance.
