We're recruiting for an exciting Front of House Manager position based in St Andrews within a premium care home setting. About the Role
As Front of House Manager, you will be the welcoming face of the home, ensuring residents, families, and visitors feel genuinely valued from the moment they arrive. You'll lead the front-of-house, hospitality, and events functions, driving a warm, professional, and seamless experience every day.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering an engaging, welcoming front-of-house experience

  • Overseeing reception, hospitality, and guest services to ensure smooth daily operations

  • Managing, mentoring, and motivating front-of-house and hospitality staff to provide exceptional service

  • Maintaining the home's presentation, ambience, and comfort in partnership with care teams

  • Leading sales, marketing, and community engagement activities, including tours for prospective residents and families

  • Organising events, open days, and activities to promote resident engagement and community connections

  • Building strong relationships with families, local partners, and stakeholders

About You
You are an excellent communicator with a natural ability to make people feel welcome and cared for. Combining professionalism with empathy, you bring strong organisational skills and a passion for service excellence.

Essential experience:

  • Proven experience in the health & social care sector, ideally within a care home or similar environment

Desirable experience:

  • Background in hospitality, front-of-house management, or guest relations

  • Experience in sales, events coordination, or marketing in care, leisure, or hospitality settings

You will also:

  • Demonstrate strong leadership and attention to detail

  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Show commercial awareness and a passion for creating exceptional experiences
