Our client is a leading industrial process & manufacturing company, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. They are looking for a charismatic, Multi Skilled Engineer to join their expanding team.
Responsibilities
- Perform planned and preventative maintenance, as well as diagnostic work, on a wide range of fixed plant equipment
- Carry out fault finding and repairs on electrical panels and instrumentation systems
- Provide maintenance support across other Imerys sites within Cornwall as needed
- Manage the sourcing and ordering of required materials and components
- Take responsibility for submitting accurate timesheets and managing holiday records
- Ensure high-priority tasks are completed efficiently, adjusting the maintenance priority schedule as necessary to reflect operational needs
Key Skills
- Hold an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Maintenance
- Possess hands-on experience with equipment such as pumps, centrifuges, burners, furnaces, and gas systems, along with basic welding skills
- Hold a valid UK driving licence
- Demonstrate strong IT proficiency
- Maintain a solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards, with a strong commitment to compliance and best practices
