An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Electronics Test Technician to join a well-established and growing electronics manufacturing company. This is a hands-on role where you'll learn how to test and inspect electronic products, identify issues, and support the wider production and engineering teams. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for someone with a keen interest in electronics, good attention to detail, and a desire to build a long-term career in manufacturing and engineering.

Responsibilities

* Learn to test electronic assemblies using standard and specialist test equipment
* Follow clear step-by-step test procedures to check products meet quality standards
* Record test results accurately and report any issues or faults to your supervisor
* Assist with setting up test stations and preparing equipment for production runs
* Help identify and communicate any assembly errors or faulty components
* Support with basic repairs and rework under supervision
* Keep accurate notes and update systems such as Factory Logix with test feedback
* Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised work area
* Work closely with experienced Test Technicians and Engineers to build your technical knowledge and skills
* Contribute to improvements in test processes and methods as you gain experience

Requirements

* Enthusiastic and eager to learn with a genuine interest in electronics or technology
* Good attention to detail and accuracy in following instructions
* Able to work carefully and safely in a technical environment
* Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
* Some practical experience or education in electronics, engineering, or related subjects (e.g., through college, apprenticeship, or hobby projects) would be an advantage but not essential
