Welder Fabricator – MIG & TIG

Are you a skilled Welder Fabricator looking for your next opportunity? Our client, a well-established and growing engineering company in Peterborough, is seeking an experienced MIG and TIG Welder Fabricator to join their team. This is a fantastic chance to work on a range of bespoke projects in a modern, well-equipped workshop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and other materials

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans with accuracy

  • Fabricate custom components and assemblies to high standards

  • Operate workshop machinery and tools safely and efficiently

  • Perform thorough quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications

  • Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets and deadlines

Candidate Profile:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in MIG and TIG welding

  • Strong fabrication skills with the ability to work from engineering drawings

  • High attention to detail and a strong focus on quality

  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently or within a team

  • Welding/fabrication qualifications are advantageous but not essential
