Sonic Summary
- We are looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our nursery and day care in St Albans.
- This full-time position requires experience working with children, ideally in an early years setting.
- Key responsibilities include supporting the class teacher, assisting with classroom management, and providing one-on-one support to children.
- Candidates must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one, along with recent employment references.

This is a full-time role, and will provide invaluable experience in supporting the development of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons for EYFS children.
Assisting with classroom management and creating a positive and nurturing learning environment.
Helping with the preparation of learning resources and activities.
Providing one-on-one support to children, both academically and emotionally.
Assisting with assessments and tracking the progress of students.
Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting children with their social and emotional development.
Essential Requirements:
DBS on the update service (this is a must) or willing to apply for a new DBS.
Recent employment references.
Eligibility to work in the UK (Right to Work documentation required).
Experience working with children, ideally in an early years setting.
A friendly, patient, and caring nature with a passion for working with young children.
Desirable but not essential:
Paediatric first aid qualification.
Experience in supporting children with additional learning needs (ALN).
