We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and welcoming nursery and day care in St Albans.

This is a full-time role, and will provide invaluable experience in supporting the development of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons for EYFS children.

Assisting with classroom management and creating a positive and nurturing learning environment.

Helping with the preparation of learning resources and activities.

Providing one-on-one support to children, both academically and emotionally.

Assisting with assessments and tracking the progress of students.

Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting children with their social and emotional development.

Essential Requirements:

DBS on the update service (this is a must) or willing to apply for a new DBS.

Recent employment references.

Eligibility to work in the UK (Right to Work documentation required).

Experience working with children, ideally in an early years setting.

A friendly, patient, and caring nature with a passion for working with young children.

Desirable but not essential:

Paediatric first aid qualification.

Experience in supporting children with additional learning needs (ALN).
