Health, Safety and Compliance Coordinator | St Albans | 30,000 plus benefits

We're pleased to be partnering with a diverse and developing construction company to recruit a Health, Safety and Compliance Coordinator. This contractor specialises in refurbishment and retrofit projects in London and the surrounding areas. Due to company growth this role has been newly created and will provide administration and support to ensure the smooth running of the Health and Safety function.

Responsibilities for the Health, Safety and Compliance Coordinator will include:

  • Visit sites and engage with managers, clarifying responsibilities and addressing technical health and safety inquiries.
  • Facilitate and manage accurate documentation revision and generation in compliance with good documentation practices
  • Promote the benefits of key ISO management systems and champion continual improvement
  • Generally support the wider health and safety unit and support the development of integrated Management System (IMS) documentation

The successful Health, Safety and Compliance Coordinator will have:

  • Experience in health and safety support, administration, or systems, or a strong interest in gaining this
  • Strong organisational skills, adept at managing competing priorities.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • A keen eye for detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
