History Teacher - St Albans - £140 to £220 per day - 1-Year Maternity Cover

A well-regarded academy in St Albans is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to join their team from September for a 1-year maternity cover contract.

About the Role:

• Teaching History to KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available depending on experience)

• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons

• Creating a supportive, inclusive and inspiring learning environment

• Monitoring student progress and providing high-quality feedback

• Contributing to department planning and extra-curricular activities

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds UK QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)

• Specialism in History or Humanities

• Experience teaching the UK curriculum at secondary level

• Passionate about inspiring students through engaging history lessons

• Reliable, professional and committed to high standards of teaching

• Pay: £140 to £220 per day (via umbrella, depending on experience)
