Job Overview:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Urgent Care team at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. The role involves working in a fast-paced setting, providing essential assessments and interventions to patients requiring urgent care support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct timely assessments to facilitate safe and effective patient discharge

  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care

  • Provide rehabilitation and treatment plans tailored to patients' needs

  • Liaise with community teams to coordinate ongoing support post-discharge

  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with NHS standards and guidelines

Key Requirements:

  • HCPC-registered Physiotherapist

  • Previous experience in an urgent care or acute hospital setting

  • Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills

  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
