Our client is a chartered accountancy practice, located in the heart of a historical town in West Cambridgeshire.  They situated in charming offices immediately next to public transport, with access across Cambridgeshire as well as providing their staff with parking facilities.

They are highly respected in the community and in their profession, having built a loyal and steadily increasing clientele off the back of their high level of service and calibre of work.

The role

The firm’s bookkeeping service is an essential part of the holistic service delivery to their clients and Reed Practice have been engaged to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to join their thriving team.

The tasks undertaken in this role include:

  • Full bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients utilising a range of software such as Xero, Sage.
  • Preparing VAT returns and submission to HMRC
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Full processing and posting of sales and purchase ledger

About you:

This is an essential role in the business, as the clients have entrusted their accountings services to the firm, so experience in bookkeeping specifically for an accountancy practice is essential.  

You may be AAT qualified or not, the knowledge of the environment of meeting multiple clients’ needs are more important to our client.
