Corporate Accountant/Tuition Fee Accountant
Location: Midlands
Salary: 48,149 - 57,422 per annum (depending on experience)

Sellick Partnership are seeking a highly skilled and detail-driven Corporate Accountant/Tuition Fee Accountant to join the Finance team at a leading University in the Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of tuition fee income accounting, providing expert financial insight and ensuring robust financial control in a dynamic higher education environment.

About the Role
As Coporate Accountant/Tuition Fee Accountant, you will:

  • Lead on the preparation and management of tuition fee-related budgets and forecasts
  • Produce and present accurate, timely management accounts for tuition fee income streams
  • Develop and maintain costing models to support strategic decision-making
  • Provide high-level analysis of student data and financial trends
  • Collaborate closely with academic departments, student administration, and senior management
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and University policies

About You
You will be a CCAB-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) with proven experience in:

  • Management accounts preparation and reporting
  • Budget setting, monitoring, and variance analysis
  • Complex income and costing
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, and complex formulas
  • Using data to inform strategic recommendations

You will combine technical expertise with excellent communication skills, enabling you to explain complex financial information to both finance and non-finance colleagues.
