The OpportunityWe’re seeking a qualified Senior Accountant who within the short term is looking to step into a Senior Manager role. You’ll work directly with the partners, mentor junior staff, and manage a diverse portfolio of clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a long-term mindset and a passion for leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Handle month-end and year-end close processes
- Draft personal and corporate tax returns
- Support tax planning discussions
- Mentor and manage junior team members
- Oversee a portfolio of smaller clients
- Contribute to the management of 900+ tax returns (including 500 companies)
Candidate Profile
- ACCA-qualified or equivalent
- Strong experience in accounts preparation and tax compliance
- Proven ability to manage and develop junior staff
- Long-term career mindset (frequent job changes may be a concern)
- Comfortable in a relaxed, diverse office culture
