Job Title: Financial Controller
Location: Staffordshire
Remuneration: £80,000 - £100,000 + Bonus
Join our client, a leading organisation in the manufacturing sector, as they seek a talented Financial Controller to enhance their operational team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure strategic alignment.
- Oversee the preparation of precise financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance to boost profitability.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support informed decision-making and growth strategies.
- Maintain compliance with statutory reporting requirements and enhance internal financial controls.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect company assets.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth operations.
- Improve financial systems, controls, and reporting processes for enhanced accuracy.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team to achieve excellence.
- Collaborate with senior management to align financial strategies with business objectives.
- Provide insightful financial guidance to support strategic initiatives and growth.
This will be suited to you if:
- You possess ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or an equivalent qualification.
- You have proven experience in financial management, preferably in the manufacturing or engineering sector.
- You have strong financial acumen, leadership capabilities, and strategic thinking skills.
- You are familiar with ERP systems and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
