Stafford - hybrid working
80k-90k + 6k car allowance + performance bonus
Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Portfolio Oversight
- Develop and execute portfolio strategies aligned with company goals.
- Maintain comprehensive portfolio plans with clear budgets, resource allocations, and timelines.
- Review and adjust portfolios to reflect changes in priorities or scope.
Project Oversight & Support
- Guide and support project managers across all active projects.
- Monitor performance metrics and deliverables.
- Conduct regular reviews, audits, and site visits to ensure project alignment with standards.
Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)
- Uphold and enforce SHE standards across all projects.
- Coordinate safety meetings with contractors and manage incident reporting/investigations.
- Drive a proactive safety culture across the portfolio.
Risk Management
- Identify, assess, and manage project and portfolio risks.
- Implement mitigation plans and ensure integration of risk strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
Stakeholder Communication
- Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, internal teams, and senior leadership.
- Deliver updates, reports, and presentations; address concerns promptly.
Resource & Talent Management
- Manage allocation of project management, design, and engineering resources.
- Collaborate with HR and Construction Managers for staffing needs and training programs.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance.
- Implement inspections, audits, and corrective actions as necessary.
Document Control & Drawings
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date drawing and document systems.
- Oversee the preparation, verification, and distribution of "as-installed" and "as-built" documentation.
- Review O&M manuals for completeness and operational safety.
Continuous Improvement & Lessons Learned
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Lead post-project evaluations and integrate lessons into future delivery.
On-Site Leadership
- Lead senior management/portfolio update meetings.
- Provide on-site HS&E guidance and coordinate with the wider GTDS and contractor teams.
