Responsibilities
The role involves strategic development, design, and delivery of major change and transformation programs within Adult and Children's Financial Services (ACFS). Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading improvement initiatives from inception through delivery to completion.
  • Planning and managing time effectively to meet defined stage gates, taking full accountability for coordinating tasks required to meet objectives.
  • Reporting progress to the Programme Manager at pre-set intervals.
  • Liaising with a variety of stakeholders throughout improvement activities.
  • Communicating and engaging with relevant audiences throughout initiatives.
  • Utilizing data-driven improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma, to identify root causes and propose solutions before commencing change delivery.
  • Using data-driven improvement methodologies to evidence initiative success and completion.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
  • Experience in continuous improvement and process optimization.
  • Skills honed in a service delivery setting such as utilities, leisure & tourism, or retail contact center environments.
  • Flexibility in approach and style according to stakeholder requirements, underpinned by a rigid methodology and reliable data.
  • Confidence in presentation creation and delivery, with the ability to efficiently articulate a story that provides decision-makers with essential information.
  • Ability to understand processes accurately and quickly and present them in a format suitable for a range of stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with data and possessing a strong understanding of KPIs and metrics.
