We are currently seeking a Warehouse Team Manager to oversee our rotating day shift in Stafford. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of health and safety, environmental compliance, and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, effective communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee all aspects of health and safety and environmental issues during the shift.
  • Support and lead colleagues through excellent communication and active leadership.
  • Manage coordination and handover between shifts.
  • Translate, analyse, and deliver on customer needs through effective operations.
  • Ensure resource availability and manage skilled, trained resources.
  • Aim to exceed customer expectations while delivering consistent service levels.
  • Foster a culture of excellence in all warehouse departments.
  • Maintain compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Promote diversity and engage with employees respectfully.
  • Identify and manage continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Achieve and review internal/external KPIs regularly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven operational experience in a similar role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Experienced in people management, including disciplinary processes.
  • Good analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation, and planning skills.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety requirements.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
