Operating internationally, the company specialises in delivering robust, high-specification mechanical solutions for critical infrastructure applications.This growing business is seeking to appoint a Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead the back-end production operations across a busy metals based manufacturing environment supplying into a number of critical sectors.You'll be responsible for delivering on-time, on-quality, on-cost operations while embedding a high-performance culture of health & safety, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.What you'll be doing:

  • Leading a skilled team across a wide variety of manufacturing operations
  • Driving process improvement and compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001
  • Managing schedules, KPIs, and materials to meet ambitious production goals
  • Coaching and developing people while supporting strategic growth initiatives
  • Support and build strategic plans for all areas of responsibility that enhance the growth of the business.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to support efficiency and long-term success

  • Proven leadership experience in metals-based manufacturing & assembly operations
  • Strong H&S awareness and experience managing hazardous and highly regulated processes
  • ERP knowledge (SAP a bonus) and confidence in detailed planning and performance metrics
