About the role:
ReeVR are seeking an experienced Senior Stores Operative to join a leading manufacturing business based in Staines.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with strong MRP knowledge and a background in manufacturing stores operations.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Stores Operative:
- Oversee day-to-day stores operations, including goods in/out, stock control, and inventory accuracy.
- Utilise MRP systems to manage material requirements and ensure production demands are met efficiently.
- Maintain accurate stock records and documentation in line with company procedures.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to support smooth workflow and timely material availability.
- Identify and implement improvements to stock management processes and storage layouts.
- Lead by example to promote high standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence within the stores team.
- Support periodic stock audits and cycle counts.
Key Requirements:
- As the Senior Stores Operative you would need experience in a manufacturing stores environment.
- Strong working knowledge of MRP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy as the Senior Stores Operative.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
