Highly successful SME manufacturing company require experienced Inventory Manager to manage stock levels and production scheduling at recently refurbished offices in Staines upon Thames.

About the Inventory Manager

The Inventory Manager will be responsible for overseeing a small team, covering goods in deliveries and the kitting out of planned production. Key duties include:

  • Management of the goods inwards process, ensuring all deliveries are correctly organised, quality checked and booked into the company ERP system
  • Overseeing thekitting process to ensure components are organised for 8 weeks production in advance
  • Supervision of a small warehouse team of 2 and monitoring health & safety, personal development and performance reviews
  • Recording all stock accurately on the ERP system
  • Organising the Stores and Goods Inwards areasacross 2 sitesin accordance with the 5S principle.
  • Ensure all key performance indicators are on target and leading a culture of continuous improvement
  • Daily actioning of key reports including; sales orders, stock shortages and work-in-progress failures
  • Managing stock counts at all locations to identify incorrectly located physical stock

About the Inventory Manager

  • You will have a proven track record managing all aspects of inventory within a demanding manufacturing environment
  • Applicants will have previous management experience and be committed to excellent Health & Safety
  • The Inventory Manager will have a working knowledge of ERP systems and good MS Excel skills
