Location: North West

Salary: 拢28,000 - 拢30,000

Overview:

Our Client is a Groundworks and Civil Engineering company from Walsall in the West Midlands. Operating as a sub-contractor for most of the major and regional housebuilders, as well as other market sectors.

Responsibilities:

路Working within the Quantity Surveying Team to manage all commercial elements throughout the project lifecycle.

路Minimise costs and enhance value for money

路Achieve the required standards and quality in accordance with contract and client expectations.

路Ensuring contractual and commercial risks and opportunities are identified and addressed.

路Cost planning and contract engagement

路Sourcing specified materials based on cost & quality.

路Attend progress meetings to respond to commercial matters raised.

路Ongoing liaison with site team, supply chain and Clients' representatives

路Support and advise the project manager in respect of fulfilment of all contractual obligations.

About You:

路Recently graduated with a Quantity Surveying degree.

路Competent IT skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook

路Demonstrable financial and commercial acumen.

路Practical approach, logical thought process and a methodical way of working.

路Strong analytical skills.

路Ability to work under pressure as part of a team and individually

路Willing to travel to sites throughout the UK.

路Valid UK Driving Licence
