Installation & Workshop Engineer
Location: Peterborough, PE2 6YN.
Salary: £45,000 including overtime.
Contract: Full time, permanent.
About the role:
The purpose of the role is to execute various project phases of the OAL way including (but not limited to) development, installation, testing and support.
Performance in this role is measured by the successful delivery of safe, on-time, on-budget, and on-specification projects, maintaining OAL's high standards for execution and customer satisfaction.
Installation & Workshop Engineer - Responsibilities:
Installation of equipment and infrastructure at customer sites (either on own or as part of a team).
Working with other members of the team, and the company as a whole, to ensure that projects are completed in a timely and professional manner.
Advising on design and requirements using experience and technical knowledge.
Installation preparatory works on equipment in the workshop prior to deployment to the customer site.
Responsible for fault reporting and implementation and testing of design modifications.
Providing support to the customer, the team, and other teams within OAL Group.
To work within agreed budgets / costs.
What we need from you:
Mechanical/Electrical/Controls aptitude/qualifications.
Previous experience of installation and testing of electrical & control systems.
Controls Systems working experience & knowledge.
High engineering standards of implementation and execution.
Customer relationship building.
Knowledge and application of safe working practices.
Working within a food manufacturing environment and conforming to site technical standards.
Ideally ECS Certification: Electrical Fitter & Electrical Safety Essentials.
