Caretaker

Barker Ross is recruiting for a Caretaker for one of our clients' based at Mossbourne Fobbing Academy (SS17 8JT).

Our client is a community-facing, people-first business that delivers, manages and maintains communities and places - including multi-tenure housing, schools, open spaces, public and private buildings, retail schemes, distribution centres, manufacturing plants, utilities and broadband networks.

Location: Mossbourne Fobbing Academy, SS17 8JT
Payrate: 14.00 per hour PAYE - weekly pay
Hours: 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday
Start: 01.09.25
Duration: On-going

Duties:

• Carrying out general maintenance and repairs (DIY tasks, site assistant duties)

• Ensuring the site and surrounding areas are maintained to a high standard

• Assisting with cleaning and site safety tasks

• Conducting building checks and reporting to management

• Ensuring compliance with relevant statutory requirements, including Health and Safety

Requirements:

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Experience in maintenance and repairs, including safe use of tools

• Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and considerations

• Proactive approach with good use of initiative in identifying priority tasks
