A leading logistics provider is seeking a skilled and detail-focused Import Customs Operator to join its Customs team based at London Gateway. This vital role involves managing import declarations and ensuring full compliance with HMRC regulations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process accurate import and export customs documentation
- Ensure compliance with current UK customs regulations and procedures
- Liaise regularly with HMRC and port community systems to resolve issues
- Maintain up-to-date internal records and customs systems
- Keep abreast of changes in customs legislation and practices
What You'll Need:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in customs documentation
- Background in road imports
- Hands-on experience with customs systems (e.g., Sequoia, CDS, Destin8)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong knowledge of UK import/export regulations
- Good team player with effective communication skills
- Full UK driving license (due to office location)
