RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create a right-sized pipeline of opportunities.
- Achieve activity and sales targets.
- Proactively phone prospects to generate new business.
- Deal with enquiries promptly and efficiently.
- Upsell and cross-sell where possible.
- Manage the complete sales process from lead generation to handover of orders to the operations team.
- Be an expert in the company’s product portfolio - a trusted advisor.
- Analyse/ monitor individual sales performance/target and remain committed to personal development.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Be a brand ambassador.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the Construction industry.
- Able to read and understand architect drawings and specifications.
- Practical/technical skills are essential to understand the customer base.
- Lead generation / prospecting experience.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook).
- Competent with ERP / CRM systems.
- Good communication skills - written and verbal.
- Good numerical skills and commercial awareness.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Personable, presentable, and articulate.
- Positive, proactive, and punctual.
- Accurate, with good attention to detail.
- Interpersonal and team-working skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Salary will include a basic+ commission structure.
