Job Title: Clerk of Works
Location: Decent Homes Project Stevenage
Salary: £22 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Interim - min 3 months
Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clerk of Works to join our Decent Homes project on an interim basis. As a Clerk of Works, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of construction work, helping to deliver safe and high-standard homes.Key Responsibilities:
- Regularly inspect construction sites to monitor progress and quality.
- Ensure all work complies with plans, specifications, and building regulations.
- Report any issues or deviations to the project manager or architect.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections and findings.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations and construction standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and reporting abilities.
