Hours: Mon - Friday (9:00-5:30 with 1 hr lunch break) - may be open to PT hours if available to come into the office 5 days a week

About the Role:

My client is seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to ensure the smooth operation of administrative processes within their commercial brokerage team. This role is pivotal in maintaining high standards of professionalism and efficiency, supporting brokers and directors from initial enquiries through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prompt Distribution: Efficiently manage and distribute new enquiries.
  • Client Interaction: Handle and respond to introducer, client, and lender enquiries promptly.
  • Team Support: Contribute to the seamless functioning of the broker team.
  • Telephone Management: Answer calls promptly and courteously.
  • Record Maintenance: Keep client records updated in applicable formats.
  • System Logging: Log enquiries on the current system.
  • Case Management: Collaborate with the Commercial Broker team on diary actions and case management.
  • Adviser Support: Provide necessary support to advisers.
  • Payment Processing: Process and log card payments.
  • Office Duties: Perform photocopying, scanning, filing, and general housekeeping tasks.
  • Stationery Management: Oversee office stationery requirements.
  • Ad Hoc Duties: Undertake any reasonable additional tasks as required.

Essential Skills & Attributes:

  • Relationship Building: Develop effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Problem Solving: Logical analysis and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience: Ideally experience of working within the mortgage, banking aor Financial Services section (but not essentail)
