My client is looking for an Occupational Health Administrator to join them on an initial 6-month basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised individual to provide vital administrative support within a busy Occupational Health team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the OH database, producing reports, and supporting the OH Manager and wider team with day-to-day operations. This role offers a varied workload, exposure to health and wellbeing initiatives, and the chance to contribute to an organisation committed to employee care.

Pay: 16.01 per hour via PAYE
Location: Stevenage
Contract: 6 Months
Hours: Monday - Friday 37 hours per week
Security Clearance: BPSS to start, Security Clearnce Required, UK eyes only
Responsibilities:
- Provide a comprehensive administrative function for the Occupational Health (OH) team, ensuring smooth daily operations (approx. 80% of role).
- Manage and maintain the OH database (Cohort), ensuring records are accurate, confidential, and up to date.
- Produce and analyse statistical data and reports to support OH service delivery and management decision-making.
- Support the OH Manager and wider OH team with administrative tasks, including filing, document control, and maintaining Excel tracking sheets.
- Assist with the organisation of meetings, including accurate minute taking, distribution of agendas, and follow-up actions.
- Deliver a high level of customer service to employees, managers, and external partners, ensuring queries are handled promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate the scanning, archiving, and secure storage of OH documents, occasionally attending the Stevenage site when required.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain productive working relationships.
- Contribute to the promotion of health and wellbeing initiatives, supporting the company's proactive approach to employee welfare.
- Ensure all administrative processes are compliant with data protection and company confidentiality standards.
- Provide cover and support for other administrative duties within the team as required.
Skillset/experience required:
- Graduate or a minimum A level study with 5 GCSE's grades A-C
- An Experienced forward thinker with excellent organisational skills
- An outgoing self-starter - to succeed in this role, you need to be self-motivated, proactive, organised with the ability to multi-task
- Customer Service experience
- Experience in accurate meeting minute taking
- Passionate about proactive health & wellbeing
- Very good IT skills including MS office
- Ability to work as a team with others
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
- Experience of establishing productive relationships with customers and other internal/external stakeholders
