We're Hiring: People Business Partner (Part-Time)

Here at Resourcing4HR HQ, we are delighted to be engaged to recruit this super flexible role where work life balance is a given. Working equivalent to three days per week, our client is flexible with the actual working pattern as long as it complements the existing compressed hours arrangements within the team.

  • Location: Flexible - Home based with occasional office working (Central Herts)
  • Salary: Upto £60k FTE (upto £36k for 3 days per week
  • Working Pattern: 3 days /week (flexible - e.g., 4-5 shorter days

Join this growing team as a People Business Partner, reporting to the Head of People and managing two People Advisors. We're looking for someone to lead operational HR, champion employee experience, and help shape the future of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage day-to-day HR operations including payroll, benefits, and employee lifecycle.
  • Line manage and develop two People Advisors.
  • Partner with managers to deliver fair, consistent, and strategic people support.
  • Drive a coaching culture and lead by example.
  • Lead on key people projects (e.g., change management, TUPE, restructures).
  • Help shape talent, retention, and L&D strategies.
  • Use data and insights to inform decisions and improve employee experience.
  • Collaborate on people policies that reflect our culture and values.

What You Bring:

  • Proven HR operational or generalist management experience.
  • Experience in HR business partnering.
  • Strong people management and coaching skills.
  • CIPD qualified (or working towards Level 7).
  • Deep understanding of people strategy, employment law, and organisational culture.
  • Confident working with data, HRIS tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • A flexible, pragmatic, and collaborative approach.

Desirable Extras

  • Payroll or L&D system experience.
  • Passion for innovation and wellbeing in the workplace.
