  • Schedule: Wednesday/Thursday/Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (30-minute lunch)

What You'll Be Doing:Join our GP surgery client's team as a Prescribing Pharmacist working on-site at a busy GP surgery. In this role, you will:

  • conduct structured medication reviews for patients with complex needs

  • manage long-term conditions and optimise therapy in line with current guidelines

  • provide clinical support and prescribing within your scope of competence

  • contribute to improving medicines optimisation and reducing polypharmacy risks

  • work closely with GPs, nurses, and other primary care professionals

  • utilise EMIS for record-keeping and clinical documentation

Requirements & Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • a current and valid GPhC registration

  • an Independent Prescribing Qualification

  • prior experience in a GP surgery or primary care setting

  • proficiency using EMIS

  • strong communication and patient consultation skills

  • the ability to work autonomously on-site (this is not a remote role)

Working Hours & Contract Duration:This is a part-time locum position requiring availability from Wednesday to Friday, with working hours from 9:00am to 5:00pm (including a 30-minute lunch break). The contract is expected to last 3-4 months, with a strong chance of extension based on service needs.
