What You’ll Be Doing:As a Band 6 Community Physiotherapist, you’ll be supporting patients with neurological conditions and stroke recovery, promoting independence and reducing hospital readmissions. Your role will include:

  • carrying out detailed neuro/stroke physiotherapy assessments
  • developing and delivering patient-centred rehab plans
  • liaising with wider MDT including OTs, nurses, and speech & language therapists
  • advising patients, families, and carers on exercises and ongoing management
  • maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation

Requirements & Qualifications:Ideal candidates will possess:

  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
  • experience working with stroke/neuro patients, ideally in the community
  • strong clinical reasoning, rehab planning, and communication skills
  • ability to work autonomously and as part of an MDT
  • car driver with access to a vehicle (preferred for community travel)

Working Hours & Contract Duration:This role is full-time (Monday–Friday, 08:30–16:30), but part-time applicants are also welcome. The contract is ongoing with high potential for extension based on performance and service need.
