Where will you be working?
At M Group Energy, were enabling the energy essential to support our lives.
We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
This role will be within ourMeteringteam, youll join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, we provide efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters.
Our team installs and maintains distribution networks and ensures reliable connections for customers. carrying out electrical planned work, customer connections and network reinforcement.
As part of our team, youll be at the forefront of the transition to net zero, working with not just those around you, but across the Group- sharing learnings to deliver essential infrastructure services for life.
What will you be doing?
Are you ready to lead in SHEQ? As Head of SHEQ Metering & Home Decarbonisation, youll oversee improvement across Energy Metering & Home Decarbonisationcontracts nationwide.
Youll guide our SHEQ team with expertise, delivering strategic advice, managing risks, and driving key improvements. From audits to incident investigations and shaping best practices. Providing expert advice and support to all the Energy SHEQ teams, whilst developing and implementing key SHEQ business improvements across Metering & Home Decarbonisation. This role is remote with travel. Does this sound like your next role?
What youll bring
  • Previous SHEQ experience in eitherMetering or Home Decarbonisation
  • Professional Competence as demonstrated by Chartered membership of IOSH (CMIOSH or MIRSM).
  • National Diploma or NVQ5/6 Health and Safety / BSc or MSc Health and Safety.
  • Experienced in managing teams, project delivery and process improvement.
