Recovery Worker Administrator

A distinguished organisation is actively seeking a Recovery Worker Administrator on a temporary arrangement. The post holder will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of services for individuals seeking support for substance misuse and related challenges.

Location: Stevenage

Duration: 3 months minimum

Rate = £14.57 per hour (including holiday) £16.75 per hour (Umbrella)

Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday (09:00am – 17:00)

Your duties will include:

  • Reception and Frontline Support: Serve as the first point of contact for service users and professionals, handling initial queries, welcoming visitors, and directing them appropriately within the service
  • Administrative Duties: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team, including scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining organised records
  • Communication Coordination: Facilitate effective communication within the team and with external partners, including attending meetings, taking minutes, and disseminating information as needed
  • Support for Service Users: Assist in the coordination of care by supporting service users from their initial contact through their treatment journey, which may involve scheduling assessments and facilitating referrals
