We’re hiring for an experienced Quality Engineer to join an engineering company based in Stockport who boast an attractive reputation and extremely exciting future.
Producing high quality jigs and fixtures for a diverse range of industries, this is a business that provides an excellent variety of work for their employees along with a supportive working environment.

What will you be doing as a Quality Engineer?
- Inspecting machine parts and assemblies to meet drawings and customer specifications
- Supporting the Quality Manager in maintaining the QMS
- Servicing and calibrating inspection equipment (including laser trackers and CMMs)
- Providing operator training to recognised standards
- Working collaboratively with production, estimating, and sales teams
- Advising on capital investments to implement the latest technologies
- Actioning NCRs using 8D problem-solving methods
What do you need?
- A trained internal auditing certification or relevant experience
- Previous time served as a machinist or toolmaker (desirable)
- Leica or Faro experience (desirable)
- Lean and six sigma experience (desirable)
- Previous experience working within a precision engineering environment (desirable)
