Description
- Manage and monitor the credit control process, ensuring timely collections and accurate record-keeping.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies promptly and professionally.
- Prepare and distribute financial reports related to outstanding debts and credit risks.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external clients to address payment queries.
- Support the finance team with administrative tasks related to credit control.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding credit management.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all credit control activities in the system.
- Assist with ad hoc tasks as required by the accounting and finance department.
Profile
A successful Senior Credit Control Clerk should have:
- Experience in credit control or a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
