Full-Time Teaching Assistant - SEND Support (KS1) - Primary School in Hyde, Tameside

Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a friendly and supportive Primary School in Hyde, Tameside, who are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to provide SEND support in a KS1 classroom.

Role Overview:

  • Location: Hyde, Tameside

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

  • Pay: Competitive and reflective of experience

  • Contract: Full-time, long-term

The school is looking for an experienced and reliable individual to support children with additional needs. You'll work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure pupils are engaged, supported, and thriving in the classroom environment.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting SEND pupils, especially in Key Stage 1

  • Is patient, nurturing, and proactive

  • Can build positive relationships with children and staff
