I'm looking for an experienced and passionate General Manager to lead the team at a brand new opening in Stockport, part of a growing and well respected pub group.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take full ownership of a large, food-led venue with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients and delivering outstanding service in a vibrant, community driven setting.

The Role:
As General Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the success of the venue. This is a hands-on leadership role where your energy, standards, and ability to inspire a team will be key. Responsibilities include:
- Full P&L accountability and commercial performance
- Leading recruitment, training, and development of the team
- Managing rotas and labour to hit business targets
- Ensuring an exceptional guest experience from first impression to final bill
- Driving local marketing and community engagement
- Overseeing compliance, health & safety, and licensing regulations
- Working closely with the kitchen team to maintain consistency and quality in food service
You:
- Proven experience as a General Manager in high-volume, food-led venues
- Background in gastropubs, premium casual dining, or large-format hospitality
- Strong commercial awareness with a track record of hitting targets
- A people-first leader with excellent communication and team development skills
- Passion for great food, service, and building lasting connections with the local community
