We are currently recruiting for a Chip Shop Supervisor for our well established client, a traditional Fish & Chip restaurant and takeaway near to Stockport centre. This is a temporary to permanent role for the right candidate.
You would be responsible for overseeing daily operations, opening/ closing of the shop, ensuring the highest levels of food quality, health and safety adherence, staff supervision, inventory control, food preparation, frying, assisting with cleaning and creating staff rotas. You would also handle any customer complaints, cash handling, reporting and escalating where necessary to higher management and ensuring the shop and restaurant maintains a positive and efficient environment.
Ideally you will come from a catering background, have excellent customer service skills and hold a Food Hygiene Certificate Level 3 - although this can be arranged for the right candidate if not.
The working hours are 5 days a week Tuesday-Saturday on either the early or late shift which are 7.30am-2.30pm/ 1.30pm-8.30pm on a rota basis.
The pay is 13.50ph, with this being reviewed after a 12 week satisfactory probationary period with the view to increase.
