Contract: Temporary ongoing fulltime Monday to Friday 46 hours per week

Salary: 12.21ph - 6am - 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 6am - 1.30pm on Friday - overtime rate at time and a half any hours after 37.5 hours

Adecco is partnering with a company based in Stockport to recruit a Laboratory Assistant. This role involves supporting wheat and flour testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Day to day analysis of Wheat and Flour in the lab
  • Maintenance of CLAS and NABIM Accreditation for the laboratory
  • Daily completion of lab testing and documentation
  • Verifying product quality
  • Completing customer certificates
  • Collection, documentation, and storage of products
  • Complete annual training review
  • Ensure that excellent standards are established, maintained and developed making sure food safety is top priority

Requirements:

  • Degree in something relating to laboratory testing is desired but not essential
  • Prior lab experience in sample preparation and testing
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Team player with strong communication skills
