Estimator - Commercial & Light Civils Construction | North East
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Estimator to join a financially stable regional construction company delivering high-quality commercial and civils projects across the North East. With at least 2 years of projects already guaranteed and a strong pipeline of future work, this role offers stability and variety.
The Role:
Prepare accurate cost estimates and take-offs for projects up to 20 million.
Work on commercial and light civils projects, including steel structures and cladding systems.
Collaborate with project teams on procurement, value engineering, and commercial reporting.
Support tender submissions and bid processes to help secure new contracts.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in construction estimating for commercial or civils projects.
Hands-on experience with take-offs and preparing competitive bids.
Understanding of steel frameworks, cladding, and associated civils works.
Strong numerical, commercial, and organisational skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
