Job Summary:I am seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, manage, and support our enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to network reliability, performance, and security.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and manage complex LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud-based network infrastructures.

  • Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.

  • Configure and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.

  • Oversee network security practices including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and network segmentation.

  • Manage and mentor junior network staff, providing technical guidance and support.

  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, systems, and cloud teams on cross-functional projects.

  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness for network services.

  • Maintain documentation for network architecture, configuration, and standard operating procedures.

  • Conduct periodic audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance checks.

  • Lead or contribute to network-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.

Job Requirements:Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Industry certifications strongly preferred: CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, CompTIA Network+, Palo Alto PCNSE, AWS/Azure Networking Specialty.

Experience:
  • Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking.

  • Proven experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking platforms.

  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid environments.

Technical Skills:
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN technologies.

  • Strong experience with firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto).

  • Familiarity with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.).

  • Proficiency with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark).

  • Knowledge of SD-WAN, NAC, and zero trust network architectures.

Soft Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Leadership qualities and experience mentoring junior engineers.

Nice to Have:
  • Experience with VoIP, SIP, or UC platforms.

  • Exposure to DevOps tools and methodologies.

  • Participation in network design for large-scale data centers or multi-site organizations.
