This client is recruiting for a Finance Assistant, on a full-time and permanent basis so if you thrive in a collaborative environment and are passionate about accuracy and detail, this role is perfect for you!

  • Maintain Sales and Purchase ledger accounts
  • Handle bank receipts, payments, and credit card processing with precision
  • Bank cheques and cash efficiently
  • Processing sales & purchase returns
  • Update and check Excel cashflow spreadsheets regularly.
  • Updating and maintaining Aged Debtors
  • Send out supplier remittances via email, communicating effectively with all suppliers
  • Inputting Purchase Invoices using bespoke system  
  • Ensure all credit notes are accurately recorded.
  • Check, correct, and maintain various financial and business documents
  • Maintain both existing and new customer & supplier accounts, ensuring they are kept up to date 
  • Supplier payment utilising Sage 50 & online BACS payment system
  • Manage pre-payment journals accurately
  • Answer incoming telephone and email enquiries professionally
  • Keeping filing systems up to date
  • Emailing and photocopying business correspondence
