Commercial Finance Manager

Stoke/ Hybrid

£75,000 – 80,000 + 10% bonus

Grafton Banks Finance is working with a global sales and marketing agency, based in Stoke, to recruit a newly created Commercial Finance Manager role.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance this role will support the senior leadership team by delivering insightful financial planning, strategic analysis, and commercial guidance.  

We are looking for an experienced commercial finance professional or finance business partner, with strong financial modelling skills, and excellent stakeholder management skills. An accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) is essential.

This role is hybrid working with 3 days in the offices in Stoke. Salary is up to £80,000 + 10% bonus, 25 days holiday, private healthcare, and matched pension.

Key tasks:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing financial insight to support strategic and operational decisions.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to evaluate customer profitability, pricing models, and margin improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to develop and implement additional financial and non-financial KPIs to monitor business performance.
  • Monthly forecasts and annual budgets in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Build robust financial models to support new business opportunities, pricing strategies, and investment decisions.
  • Conduct variance analysis and deliver actionable insights to improve performance.
  • Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess business risks and opportunities.
  • Drive the design and implementation of streamlined management reporting.

Experience working in international businesses and driving improvements to management reporting would be advantageous for this role.
